Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

When you submit a detailing request, we may collect information you provide such as your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, city, vehicle type, year, make, model, requested service, vehicle condition, and notes about the work you want performed.

When a detailing business applies to or participates in our provider network, we may collect business and contact information, service areas, offered services, notification preferences, account credentials, lead activity, billing and invoice information, disputes, and administrative account records.

Our website and hosting systems may also automatically process limited technical information needed to operate and secure the site, such as IP address, browser or device information, request timestamps, and server/security logs.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to receive and process detailing requests; match requests with participating providers; allow an accepting provider to contact a prospective customer; operate provider accounts; send operational communications; administer lead fees, invoices and disputes; prevent fraud or misuse; secure and troubleshoot the service; maintain business records; and comply with applicable law.

3. How Customer Requests Are Shared

Submitting a request authorizes Dayton Mobile Detailing to use the information in that request to seek a participating provider. When a provider accepts a lead, we may provide that provider with the customer contact information and request details needed to respond, quote, schedule, or provide the requested service.

Participating providers are independent businesses. Their own privacy practices may apply after they receive information and communicate directly with you.

4. Service Providers and Business Operations

We may disclose information to vendors that help us operate the website and business, such as hosting and infrastructure providers, analytics providers, email or communications providers, security services, and payment or invoicing processors used for provider billing. These vendors may process information on our behalf or under their own applicable terms.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud or abuse, or in connection with a merger, financing, sale, or transfer of all or part of the business.

5. We Do Not Sell Customer Leads as General Marketing Lists

Customer request information is provided to participating detailing providers for the purpose of responding to the applicable detailing request. We do not sell customer contact information to unrelated advertisers or marketing companies, and we do not sell customer contact information as a general-purpose marketing or data-broker list.

6. Email and Text Communications

If you provide contact information in connection with a detailing request, Dayton Mobile Detailing or an accepting participating provider may contact you about that request.

Provider email notifications

Provider-network participants may receive operational email relating to lead opportunities, account activity, billing, security, disputes, and other provider-network activity. Providers may request changes to optional lead-notification email preferences by contacting support@daytonmobiledetailing.com. Certain account, security, billing, legal, or service-related emails may still be sent when reasonably necessary to operate the provider account.

Provider SMS notifications

SMS lead alerts are not currently active. When SMS notifications become available, providers will be able to opt in separately and voluntarily. Consent to receive SMS will not be required to apply for or maintain a provider account. Message frequency will vary based on provider activity and available lead opportunities, and message and data rates may apply. Providers who opt in will be able to reply STOP to opt out of SMS and HELP for help. After an SMS opt-out, we will not send further provider-network SMS messages unless the provider later opts in again through an available consent process.

Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in records, and SMS consent information will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may use communications vendors and telecommunications providers as necessary to deliver messages on our behalf.

7. Cookies, Analytics and Similar Technologies

Our public customer-facing pages use Google Analytics to help us understand website traffic, how visitors reach the site, and how people interact with the quote-request process. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies and may process information such as page views, approximate location derived from network information, device or browser information, referral source, campaign information, and interactions with the site. We use this information to measure and improve our website and customer-acquisition efforts. We do not intentionally send the name, phone number, email address, vehicle notes, or other information entered into the quote form to Google Analytics as event parameters.

The provider account area uses an essential session cookie to keep an authenticated provider signed in and to protect account access. We do not currently use advertising pixels on the public site. Browser settings and certain browser extensions may allow you to limit or block cookies or analytics requests. Additional choices or notices will be provided when required by applicable law.

8. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including operating the service, maintaining lead and provider history, billing and dispute records, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and resolving claims. Retention periods may vary by record type.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information. No website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Your Choices and Requests

You may contact us to ask about personal information associated with you, request a correction, or request deletion where appropriate. We may need to retain certain records for billing, fraud prevention, legal, security, or other legitimate business purposes, and we may need to verify a request before acting on it.

11. Children's Privacy

The service is intended for adults seeking or providing vehicle detailing services and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the current version.
